I love to teach music!

For 35 years I have enjoyed teaching 

piano & voice lessons to students of all ages.

My degree is from Aquinas College in 

Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Piano, voice, history, and theory instruction there have all equipped me to share my love of music with students.  

My students teach me new things every day.

I continue my education through experience.

I have spent time learning about different aspects of music by directing children's musicals and choirs in the community, actively performing with students at recitals, and performing with my chorus, ensemble, and quartets within the

Battle Creek Chorus of Sweet Adelines.  

I have mentors and peers who help me to utilize online resources to keep my skills growing.  

I get to experience many different 

flavors of music.    

2020 has opened up the world of virtual piano lessons to me allowing me to stay active in sharing my passion for teaching piano

even while the world was in quarantine.
